Location, Location for writing haiku

Well, it looks like my haiku group is coming closer to acquiring a new permanent location. It's not certain yet, but the Barnes and Noble in The Grove near Farmer's Market seems interested in allowing us to meet there.

In the meantime, we're still exploring the outdoors for August. Our August meeting is going to be on the first Sunday instead of the third Saturday and will be this coming Sunday, August 6th at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at CSULB. The garden is open from noon to 4 and our "workshop" will be from 1 to 3, with plenty of time for writing and wandering the garden for inspiration. If you live in Southern California and feel like a Sunday haiku workshop, please drop by!
