I did this last year, too.
The good news is that the poetry events are usually fairly easy to obtain last minute tickets for in the booth on campus and you don't need tickets for the stages. The Ray Bradbury appearance? It might be hard to get in via the standby line if I go on Saturday. However, looking at my weekend schedule, it appears Sunday is the better day for me.
Here are the poetry highlights of the two days:
Saturday – 12:00 PM – Distilling Reality: The Poet’s Craft, Young Hall CS24 Panel 1082, Dana Goodyear, Gail Mazur, Marilyn Nelson, Donald Revel, Amy Uyematsu (Warning - This panel conflicts with Ray Bradbury who is appearing in Ackerman at 12:00 PM)
Saturday Poetry Stage Poets: Dana Levin, Marilyn Nelson, Terry Wolverton, Charles Harper Webb, Victoria Chang, Sesshu Foster, James Ragan, John Fitzgerald, Gail Mazur, Jeffrey Levine, Dana Goodyear, Donald Revell, Chrostopher Merrill, Martha Ronk
Sunday – 12:00 PM – Poetry: Seasons in Verse, Young Hall CS24 Panel 2082
