For Easter Dinner, my parents and I decided to do something a bit different. We ate at a seafood restaurant on the waterfront. Since my sister and her family left today on a Mexican cruise, we had our big ham family dinner yesterday afternoon. After the ham dinner, I dropped by a friend's house and she mentioned that her daughter, a recent college grad, has become a vegetarian. The problem is that this same daughter doesn't like vegetables.
Although I admit to being somewhat grossed out every time I drive up through the Coalinga Junction, on past the cattle stockyards where the cows are being rounded up near I5 for slaughter, I'm just not willing to give up the taste of beef stroganoff or beef and broccoli or prime rib. Yet, sometimes, I just prefer something like salmon with mango salsa...
