Procrastinator's Anonymous

Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm a holiday procrastinator.

It's Christmas Eve, and my Christmas cards are still in their boxes in the trunk of my car where they've been for two weeks. I did manage to print up my Christmas letters early this afternoon, although unfortunately no one will read them until well after Christmas.

On the plus side, yesterday I actually mailed all Christmas gifts which will require a trip to the Post Office! This is a new record for me. Previously, I believe December 26th was the record for this chore.

On the shopping front, I'm actually finished now with only a couple more to wrap, but I confess that I was at the mall at 8:00 this morning.

I do have all the ingredients for my Christmas Eve dinner which is only a few hours from now, although the Christmas dinner tomorrow with the extended family will require a morning run to Albertson's.

So, I'm doing better, but still need some work here. Tonight, I'm attending two Midnight Masses so I'll have plenty of time to pray about plans for the new-improved holiday-organized person that I'm sure must live inside me.
