Tea at the Huntington

When people think of tea at the Huntington, they think of the formal tea in the Rose Garden with the finger sandwich buffet. I enjoy doing that as a luxury, but there are days when a cup of loose leaf tea in the Chinese Garden, where I can watch the ducks and the koi, suits me just fine.

Today I ordered "flowing fragrance oolong" which is named after the Chinese Garden, the Garden of Flowing Fragrance (Liu Fang Yuan). On a whim, I decided to take a photo of my cup of steeping tea leaves and was pleasantly surprised to see a reflection of the trees.
