Egrets Reading

NaHaiWriMo - National Haiku Writing Month

It is February, the shortest month, which means it is time for NaHaiWriMo, National Haiku Writing Month, in honor of the shortest poetry!

All you need to do to participate is to write one haiku a day for February.

I am using the prompts from the NaHaiWriMo facebook page, but the important thing is just to write 28 haiku (or more) in February!

The prompts are all starting with the letter "N":

February 1 - Now

Mount Vesuvius
the broken gear
on the time machine

February 2 - Noisily

train whistle
from around the bend
silent pines

both haiku by Deborah P Kolodji

The prompt for February 3rd: Nervously

The prompt for February 4th:
