an island of egrets - first Pasadena, now San Diego....

Two weeks ago, we had a spectacular reading of the 2010 Southern California Haiku Study Group anthology, an island of egrets. Even though it was an incredibly hot afternoon, the side of the building in the courtyard offered a deep shade that kept it bearable. We had 30 readers and over 60 people in attendance.

Southern California haiku poets!

Now, we're taking the show to San Diego! The reading will be at 2:00 pm, today, October 9th, at The Ink Spot, 710 13th Street, Suite 210, San Diego, CA. A no-host dinner will follow at Soleluna Cafe at 702 Ash Street, Ste E. We currently have reservations for 25.

And, for those of you who can't make it to San Diego, but have access to UTB 18.2 TV, a Japanese language TV station in Hollywood, a piece on our September 26th reading will air at 8:00 p.m. The show will be available on the internet at the UTB website on Monday, October 11th.
