Speculative Haiku

Today I booked my flight to Canada for Haiku North America and World Con. There's a little overlap between the two, which I'll be spending in Ottawa at HNA.

This means, of course, that I need to work on my presentation on speculative haiku. I have a rough draft together but need to fine tune it. As an amazing coincidence, on Saturday I got a chance to chat with Karen Anderson, the widow of Science Fiction author Poul Anderson, and who is, to my knowledge, the first person to publish science fiction haiku.

The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction published "Six Haiku" in July 1962.
