Haiku Poet Gary Gach in town...

Haiku Poet Gary Gach is in town and has several public events planned while he is here. Tonight he is reading at Beyond Baroque with Amy Uyematsu. The reading starts at 7:30, it is free and open to the public.

Tomorrow he is leading a Los Angeles Urban Haiku Workshop at Beyond Baroque from 2:00-5:30 p.m. Call 310-822-3006 to register. The oost is $50.

Today is is leading a smaller, shorter haiku workshop at the Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. This one is free and goes from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Goblin Fruit is the journal with the most nominees this year, a total of 12. Strange Horizons has 10, Mythic Delirium has 6, Lone Star Stories has 5, and Star*Line has 4.

I'm looking forward to this anthology, one of our largest ever.
