Tomorrow the Southland Poets of the Fantastic will meet at The Huntington for a speculative poetry workshop. We will tour the new Dibner Hall of the History of Science for poetic prompts.

Admission to the Huntington is unfortunately a bit expensive. On the weekends, it is $20 for adults. We will meet at the cafe near the Tea Room at 1:00.

For those who wish to have tea before-hand, I've made reservations at 11:00 and we have a couple of spaces. This is purely optional...but tea at the Huntington is fun.

The garden opens at 10:00 a.m. for anyone who would like to get there early to walk around and check out some of the other sights, such as the Chinese Garden or the carnivorous plants.

Please call me on my cell phone if you think you'd be able to join us at the last minute. If you don't have my cell phone number, e-mail me before 9:00 a.m. at my aol address.

The Huntington is located at 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino. From the 210, exit on Allen and go south. Allen dead-ends at one of the entrances the Huntington. To find the tea room and cafe, turn right and walk towards the Art Gallery. You will start to pass the Shakespeare garden on the right and the entrance to the rose garden and the tea room will be on the left.
