Egrets Reading

Rattle of Bamboo

On Saturday, the long awaited anthology for my haiku group was released. It's called "Rattle of Bamboo" and contains haiku by 24 different Southern California haiku poets:

Jerry Ball, Tom Bilicke, Darrell Byrd, Thomas Conroy, Billie Dee, D'Ellen, Linda Galloway, Victor Gendrano, gK, Nardin Gottfried, Margaret Hehman-Smith, Gloria Jaguden, Terry Johnson, Anne Jones, Deborah P Kolodji, Janis Lukstein, Michael McClintock, Naia, Victor Ortiz, David Priebe, Carolyn Thomas, Kathy Wilson, John Wong, and Wendy Wright.

Here's a couple of mine from the collection:

the itch
in your absence
poison oak

lost in the desert--
the August moon
fills up the sky

(c)2006 Deborah P Kolodji

Copies of "Rattle of Bamboo" can be ordered from Darrell Byrd. They're $7 plus postage. Contact him at dbyrd37@yahoo.com if interested.
