The June issue of The Heron's Nest is online now and includes one of my haiku:

(scroll down - it's on the right side of the page)

Speaking of haiku, sakuo3903 translated one of the haiku inspired by the Getty poetry workshop into Japanese! It’s on my livejournal here.

Also, the editors of Roadrunner Haiku Journal have announced they are changing their format. Previously, they only accepted haiku in groups of three. Starting with the August 2007 issue, they will be accepting from 1-4 haiku from an individual poet when it fits their editorial standards.

Finally, the winners of the Robert Speiss Memorial 2007 Haiku Awards have been announced and are on the Modern Haiku site here. Congratulations to origa for winning second place!
