Egrets Reading

Science Fiction Poetry Reading - April 24th

Mark your calendars, especially if you're going to be in LA in April, there is going to be a Science Fiction Poetry Night at Monday Night Poetry, April 24th from 8:00 to 9:30 pm.

The featured readers will be myself and Kendall Evans. We will be reading some short short sf poetry from Dwarf Stars and various selections from our own work, whether long, short, or in-between. There is also an open reading -- so I'd like to invite all sf poets in the area to bring some of your sf poems and be prepared to read! (And, if you're not into getting up and reading your poetry, just come and be a sf poetry friendly face in the audience!)

I'm very excited about having a reading devoted exclusively to Science Fiction Poetry and hope you'll come out and support me and Kendall in this endeavor. I plan to have flyers for the SFPA on hand.

The reading will be at the Santa Catalina Branch of the Pasadena Public Library, 999 E Washington Blvd, Pasadena. The library is two blocks east of Lake Avenue on the north side of Washington Blvd. The library is officially closed at that time, so you need to enter from a back door to the rear of the library (which will be open).
