Egrets Reading

Blank Pages

Happy New Year!

I don't have anything really inspiring for today -- just some fresh pages in a new poetry journal to write in. My daughter worked at Papyrus over Christmas Break and I was the lucky recipient of some classy-looking blank books. It's hard, sometimes, to find blank books without lines. (For some reason, when I write poetry in a journal, I don't want to be constrained by lines...)

In case, you're wondering, I don't *write* in my blank poetry books - I *write* on my computer where it is easier to edit. However, I like to handwrite my finished poems into my poetry journal. They seem safer there.

This probably seems backwards, but it works for me.
