Haiku Reading

I've been doing some catch-up work on my live journal, filling in the entries I wrote when I was away, etc. This means if you read from your f-list, you may have missed some recent haiku posts of mine (feel free to comment so I know someone's read them):

Speaking of haiku, I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the haiku reading material my mailman has brought me recently. I received bottle rockets, Frogpond, and Big Sky: The Red Moon Anthology of English-Language Haiku all in the same week. In addition, I also received A Simple Universe by Sonō Uchida and The Nick of Time: Essays on Haiku Aesthetics by Paul O. Williams (book trades from Michael Dylan Welch)that week. All arrived on the heels of the February 2007 issue of Scifaikuest, so I'm going to be reading haiku for a while.

This is just the haiku part of my postman deliveries - I also received Mythic Delirium on the heels of all this haiku, just in case I need a change of pace.
